In other words, keep the available data up to date. Web sites that are continuously updated (once a month to once a quarter) carry more weight with the various Search Engines. We offer a variety of options to make the process of keeping your web site updated and fresh and simple and cost-effective as possible. |
FTP Self Serve
(Free)
FTP Self Serve is for those do-it-yourselfers who want to upkeep their web site on their own. If your hosting provider offers FTP you should have received a user name and password for this purpose. Free programs are available for FTP, such as Coffee-cup FTP. |
Customer Maintained Site using Snippet Master
(We do not charge an ongoing use fee after the initial billable installation of Snippetmaster)
The Customer Maintained option is for those do-it-yourselfers who want to upkeep their web site on their own, but do not have the skills, tools or technical experience to use the FTP Self Serve option listed above. Paw Print offers the installation of a tool called Snippet Master. Using this simple wysiwyg (What You See Is What You Get) content-editor
tool is for those web site owners who want a very easy, quick, and visual way to edit a
pre-defined area on any web page through their browser without messing up the rest of the web page. If you can pull E-mail online, or know how to use a word processing tool such as WORD or WORD PERFECT, you have the skills to use Snippet Master to update the text on your web site. IT REALLY IS THAT EASY!

Minute Trackers

For the customer who wishes to modify their site from time to time, but doesn't want to undertake this task on their own, we will be happy to make ongoing web site changes at our current billing rates, billed by the minute, per quarter.

SnippetMaster Lite (the free vesion) will no longer be supported by PawPrint Creations as of January 1, 2007. Customers may continue to use this product, but should they experience issues, an upgrade to the paid version of SnippetMaster Pro will be required. SnippetMaster Pro is a 3rd party application that PawPrint is able to provide on their servers to allow a customer to make MINOR text changes to their web site without the need of a developer. SnippetMaster must be loaded in a Firefox browser. SnippetMaster is NOT a web design tool. The Pro version will also allow file uploads as part of its program. This is most often used to load images that have been previously sized with a customer-owned photo editing program. SnippetMaster Pro phone, E-Mail, training and general support questions are billable.

Monthly
Maintenance
- Hourly Rate of $30.00
- Hours will be accounted for in 15 minute increments
- Examples of Web site maintenance include, but are not limited to:
- Updates to text (such as schedules or show wins)
- Update Litter Information
- Update images or graphics
Yearly Maintenance
For a single fee of only
$600, you can have your site updated for a full year. This includes
changes such as email address, updating photos, and
editing text. It does not included redesigning the entire web
site.
